Significance of Eid ul Adha
The Spirit of Sacrifice
Eid ul Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, commemorates the profound devotion and unwavering faith of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), who was prepared to sacrifice his son Ismail (AS) in obedience to Allah's command. Realizing his total submission, Allah substituted a ram in Ismail's place.
This holy occasion is a beautiful reminder that true sacrifice is about selflessness, devotion, and compassion. It urges us to share our blessings with those in need, fostering unity, love, and charity across the global community.

English Translation:
Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest. There is no deity besides Allah and Allah is the greatest. Allah is the greatest and all praise belongs to Allah.
تكبيرات التشريق Blessings
Qurbani ki Dua
Recited right before performing the animal sacrifice (Qurbani).إِنِّي وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ حَنِيفًا ۖ وَمَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ. اللَّهُمَّ مِنْكَ وَلَكَ. بِسْمِ اللَّهِ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ.
English Translation:
I have turned my face single-mindedly towards the One who created the heavens and the earth, and I am not of the polytheists. O Allah, this sacrifice is from You and for You. In the name of Allah, Allah is the Greatest.
